Welcome to Home Minders Warrington. We are a proud mother-and-son team, run by myself and my son, Aidan.

We have lived right here in Warrington for the past 13 years, firmly embedding ourselves in the local community. If there is one thing we understand inside out, it is the joy—and the logistical juggle—of managing a busy, happy home filled with life.

Our own household is always buzzing. At any given time, we are looking after our dog, our cats, a flock of chickens, a tortoise, fish in our garden pond, indoor aquarium fish, and a rather vast collection of houseplants! We love our home, but for years, going away on holiday, travelling, or visiting family always came with a wave of pre-trip anxiety.

The Inspiration Behind Home Minders Warrington

Like many homeowners in Cheshire, we always faced the same dilemma when packing our bags:

Do we impose on our neighbours yet again to look after the chickens and water the plants?
Do we ask family members to drive over just to feed the fish and check the windows are shut?

The lightbulb moment came during Aidan’s Business qualification at college. By combining Aidan’s up-to-date business training and energy with my decades of professional experience, Home Minders Warrington was born.

By day, I am a Higher Education Tutor, a role built entirely around mentorship, organisation, and a high level of professional responsibility. Because of my career in education and my history as a local small business owner, I have held an unblemished Enhanced DBS check for decades. Aidan – Co-Founder & Operations Manager

Aidan is the driving force behind our daily operations. Having recently completed his business college course, he brings sharp organisational skills, social media skills, modern customer service standards, and a fantastic work ethic to the business. Aidan shares my lifelong passion for animal care and property management, and he ensures that every single daily checklist—from wheelie bins to tortoise heat lamps—is executed flawlessly.
